Dr. Enzo Berardesca graduated in Medicine and Surgery on November 9, 1979, from the University of Pavia with top marks (110 cum laude). From 1982 to 2001, he worked at the Dermatology Clinic of the University of Pavia-IRCCS Policlinico S. Matteo. Since 1987, he has collaborated with the University of California in San Francisco on research projects concerning the biophysical properties of the skin.
Since 1989, he has been a professor at the Dermatology Clinic of the University of Pavia. Since October 2001, he has been the Director of the Complex Structure of Clinical Dermatology at the Dermatological Institute of S. Maria and S. Gallicano in Rome. Since October 2002, he has been the Director of the Department of Inflammatory and Immunological Dermatology at the San Gallicano Dermatological Institute in Rome. He has published over 200 indexed scientific papers and 8 books.
